Terms, conditions and delivery

Any use of the poemsandpetals.com website is subject to the user agreeing the following Terms and Conditions. These conditions shall apply to all online transactions between Poems and Petals (“the Supplier”) and any person, firm or company (“the Purchaser”) placing an order online with the supplier for a boxed personalised poem scroll with real dried flower petals (“the Goods”).

Nothing stated or implied in these Terms and Conditions shall affect your statutory rights as a customer.

If you do not agree to the Terms and Conditions please do not use this website.

Delivery

For delivery to the UK the goods are dispatched by First Class Post, Second Class Post or Special Delivery depending on the customers selection. For European and other supported international destinations dispatch is by Airmail. All items are sent via UK Post Office and will be carried by them and other forwarding postal services to their destination.

Post Office transit time for UK is 1 to 4 working days depending on postage selection, for Europe is 3 to 5 working days and 5 to 7 working days for other international destinations (all excluding public holidays).

Dispatch of goods

Orders will be processed within one working day of receipt. Where no future event date has been entered in the order the goods will be dispatched on the day of processing excluding public holidays when they will be dispatched on the following working day.

Where a date in the future has been entered as the event date for which the goods are required the order will be processed 5 working days (Monday to Friday ) prior to the event date for European Union deliveries and 7 working days ( Monday to Friday ) prior to the event date for rest of the world deliveries (excluding public holidays).

Orders for special occasions (ie. Christmas, Valentines etc) may have a phased dispatch time over the preceding days to allow for volume of orders.

Priority postage is the responsibility of the postal service.

Returns & Refunds

Poems & Petals always try to send your poem in perfect condition. However, occasionally, a problem can arise. In the unlikely event that a product is faulty, or it is damaged in delivery or is the wrong item, we ask you to contact us to let us know of the problem as soon as possible. We will then advise you on whether you are eligible for a refund or replacement.

If for any reason you are not happy with your Poems & Petals order, please contact us on  +44 (0)1953 860494 (, or use our contact form. You will need to quote your order number, the email address you have registered and the details of the problem with the order.

We aim to acknowledge any complaint within 7 working days (usually it takes 1-2 days), and will do our best to resolve it within 28 days. We may ask you to take a photograph of the product to help us clerly understand the problem. Should it be necessary, we will then advise you how to return your item.

Where an item is faulty, we will ask you to return it to us within three days of or request.

If you are eligible for a refund, we will reimburse the price you have paid for the product onto the credit or debit card that you paid with. Alternatively, we may offer to reprint (if applicable) and resend the item free of charge. Please note it is not our policy to offer both a refund and a resend.

Refunds cannot be given if the fault is a result of your own actions such as product misuse or if personalisation is mis-spelt or incorrectly sized.

Privacy policy

The Supplier collects the information provided by the Purchaser at the time of ordering to process the Purchasers order only. No attempt to contact the Purchaser by email (other than to complete the order) will be made with marketing material unless prior consent has been obtained.

The Supplier does not have access to or store your credit card details.

Online payment

The Supplier uses the secure payment processing system provided by Stripeand the Purchaser should see their information regarding security and payment methods.
